Tales from the Trenches – Marketing Works!

I firmly believe in the mission and vision of Outreach and that the tools and resources we provide churches are the best and can really help them grow. But like everything else, sometimes I forget that the things I see and do everyday are important pieces to a church somewhere.

We all had a “Wow, Marketing Does Work” moment last week when sales of small group materials increased after we sent out our latest Small Group Mailer. The mailer is full of great resources that churches can use to grow their members and connect visitors this Fall.  It’s exciting for us to see churches take these resources and really use them.  It also reinforces a basic marketing principles: it takes multiple impressions to get a response and to keep your business (or church) on the minds of the people you are trying to reach.
