We had such a fun time celebrating with each other, it was truly a gift to laugh and be silly as a community. While we were hamming it up in the front of the camera, Julie stood back and captured the amazing moments for us. We asked Julie to share her perspective of that day…
As a photographer, the most rewarding part of my job is seeing somebody come alive in front of the camera. I realize it is a vulnerable place to be for most people be, but I thrive in making connections with my subjects that allow them to just be themselves in front of my camera.
It is only then that I have felt that I have done my job.
I had the best time working with the employees at Outreach. I enjoyed seeing each individual’s personality shine as they experienced the craziness of the Photo Booth. I got to experience the joy and laughter of a community of people that goes along with letting your hair down for a bit and just having some fun! I consider it an honor that I am allowed to be a part of something that can create a memory in somebody’s life. I would like to thank the staff at Outreach for allowing me to do just that! You have left a lasting impression on my heart, so I thank you and wish you a very Merry Christmas!
